And the list goes on

And the beat goes on.

By beat I mean list. Our list goes on. And on. And on. What list? Our giant and constantly growing “To do to sell our house list.” The list started back in November when we first came up with the crazy idea to move, and it has been growing ever since. Every time when I walk into our house I see something we need to do. Ryan loves that.

The reality is that we are in a buyer’s market. We are aware of how hard it is to sell a house right now. There are three houses for sale on our street alone (YIKES). That’s why our house needs to be perfect, or as close to perfect we can tolerate and still live here. Come March this house will no longer be our home. It will be a show house for the city of Huntsville and hopefull someone will buy it!

So…drum roll please….here is our list! We have barely gotten started.

To Do List to sell our house

Alright people. I need your input. What are we missing on our list? I know there is something we haven’t thought of. How do you sell your house and not go crazy keeping it clean? Any tips?

Have a good weekend!

  1. First take a deeeeeep breath. Then do what you do best. Organize your list. The repairs should come first. That will be the first thing a buyer will be looking for.(what needs fixed). Then paint & touch up. That’s when you take another deep breath. Just do one thing at time. That right family will come along & they will want the house even if it’s not a show case, because they will know that it has been taken care of & it is what they have been looking for. It will happen when it is right. Like they say. “All good things comes to thoughs who waite.” Pluse, ” don’t sweat the small stuff”. Any way, what ever you do, it will be wonderful. If you need any help you have my number. Love ya. & congratulations.
